William F. Roehl

Funeral services for William F. Roehl, a former Sheboygan Falls resident, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home at Manitowoc.

Mr. Roehl, 87, of 726 S 23rd St. Manitowoc, died early Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital. His death followed a lingering illness.

Burial rites will be conducted late Thursday morning at the grave in the Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

Born Feb. 16, 1885, at Lenox, Mich., Mr. Roehl came to Sheboygan Falls in 1902 to make his home. Since 1917 he had resided at Manitowoc.

He was married to Anna Wachter on June 13, 1915. An employee of the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry Co., Manitowoc, for 30 years, he was affiliated with the International Moulders and Foundry Workers' local No. 301, CIO.

Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Nick Brooks, Grays Lake, Ill.; a brother, Carl, Lansing , Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. John Praxter, Lansing, and Mrs. Edward Killinger, Egerton, Ohio.

The Rev. John Walker, pastor of the First Methodist Church at Manitowoc, will conduct the funeral services. The body will lie in state until the hours of services.
