Harry was the first child of Lowell (Doc) and Lola Effie (Holloway) Griffin, and the Grandson of Josiah Mayo and Luella (White) Griffin, and the Grandson of Jonathan Fremont and Grace Maude (Holliday) Holloway, and the Great Grandson of John and Amanda (Webb) Holloway, and the Great Grandson of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jane (Boggs) Holliday, and the Great Grandson of William and Mary (Pitman) Webb of Ohio. He Married Roseland L. Baker on March /20/ 1940, in Deming Indiana, and together they had two Daughters, they were, Geraldin Griffin (Bauchert), and Ginger R. Griffin (Deppen). Harry was a U.S. Army veteran of World War 11. He was a recipient of the Croix Degar Medal from France. Harry was employed as an auditor for Hamilton County and the State Board of Accounts for years. He was also the chief cashier for the Department of Revenue. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Westfield American Legion and was commander of the Hamilton County American Legion. Harry was 85 years old when he died.
