Hiram Hoyt Burial in Oakwood Tuesday
Hiram K. Hoyt of Bridgeport, Conn., grandson of Dr. Hiram Hoyt, an early Syracuse physician, will be buried in Oakwood Cemetery Tuesday. Mr. Hoyt, 69, died Friday of pneumonia at General Hospital of Bridgeport. He was the son of the late Dr. William E. Hoyt. His grandfather came to Syracuse from Vermont in 1832 and lived here during the rest of his life. He was recognized as the leading surgeon of his time in the city.
