The Onaga Herald Feb 21, 1901, Mrs. Pearl Hardy Dead.

The sad news reached us yesterday morning of the death of Mrs. Pearl Hardy, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Brown, of Vienna township. She died in childbirth, between 4 and 5 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, February 19, at the home of her parents. This sad death removes from among us a bright, intelligent, lovable young woman, whose many good qualities gained and held for her a place of high esteem in the hearts of a multitude of friends in this community.

The funeral services will be held at the house of her parents tomorrow morning and burial will be given in the Onaga cemetery. The entire community will sympathize with the bereaved family in this sad hour of grief and sorrow.
