Daughter of Roy Leslie & Ethel Frances(Wilson) Willoughby. (fourth child out of 15)
Married Cornelious Long on May 12, 1930 Independence, MO.

Thelma had a hard life. She struggled to take care of her two boys, Victor & Robert, after her husband went to prison in 1935. She divorced him and then married Sylvestor Vendy, but he was a gambler and they struggeled. After 8/9 yrs she divorced him and remarried the boys' father, Cornelious, in Nov 1949 after they all moved up to Indiana.

Thelma suffered badly from depression & was a diabetic. She died from a heart attack.

Thelma Long was listed as married with her two sons, Victor, 8, Robert, 6, & her sister, Grace O'Laughlin, who was widowed at the time.

p.s. I miss my grandmother.
