Tremayne Garrett Acker, 2, of Columbus, died at his home from an accidental drowning at approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001.

He was born April 17, 1998, at Joplin, Mo., to Garrett Wayne and Robyn Christmas Acker.

Survivors include his mother, of Columbus; his father of Joplin; maternal grandmother, Judy Christmas of Columbus; maternal grandfather, Leon Christmas of Iola; maternal great-grandparents, Dale and Laina Christmas of Iola; maternal great-great-grandfather, Lester Christmas of Iola; two brothers, Tyler Palmer and Tyrell Palmer of the home; a sister, Cherrelle Davis of Seattle, Wash.; paternal godmother, Yevette Jones, of Washington, D.C.; two aunts; an uncle; and several cousins.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Murdock Funeral Home of Columbus, with the Rev. Paul Duncan officiating.

Burial will be at the Park Cemetery of Columbus.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Murdock Funeral Home of Columbus.
