Mr. Westover was bora, in Oxford, February 20,1871, one of five children of Miles R. and Mary Root Westover. He lived to be the last of his family.
He was educated in Oxford Academy and Oberlin College. In his young manhood he was a telegraph operator, but later followed the trade of carpenter.
April 14, 1896, he married Miss Annie Cook of Nowich and they celebrated their golden wedding last April. They began their married life in Oxford, but later moved to Norwich where they lived until failing health forced him to give up his work. They then came to Poolville where they have since made their home.
Mr. Westover is survived by his wife and by his daughter, Mrs. Walter M. Lipps of Burmingham, Michigan.
The funeral was held in Beecher's funeral parlors in Earlville, Friday, December 13 and was largely attended, Rev. Alton A. Parker, officiating.
Burial was made in Poolville Cemetery. Brookfield Courier, December 19, 1946
