Rochet Sydnor Blair, 88, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012. She was the wife of the late Reverend Thom Williamson Blair. Rochet was born on September 11, 1923, in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Clement and Rochet Raine Sydnor.

She was devoted to her family and was a life time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Brantley Blair; nine brothers and one sister. She is survived by two sons, the Reverend Thom Williamson Blair Jr. of Victoria, Virginia, and William Sydnor Blair of Alexandria, Virginia; her daughter-in-law, Mary Blair of Lynchburg, Virginia; one brother, Kendall Sydnor of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg, assisted the family.
