Dies, Rites Today
Mrs. W. A. McPherson, 85, of 1618 Fatherland St., died Thursday at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Shelby Avenue Church of Christ. Leo .Snow, Norman Trevathan and Paul Dillingham will officiate. Burial will be in Hopkinsville, Ky.
Mrs. McPherson was born and educated in Hopkinsville. She is the daughter of the late Carrie and Leslie Cayce.
She was married for 67 years to William A. McPherson, who survives. She was a member of the Shelby Avenue Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for 55 years.
Other survivors include two sons, W. D. McPerson, Atlanta, Edgar C. McPherson, Detroit; a daughter, Miss Sarah E. McPherson, Nashville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
