LYONS - Funeral for Kent B Lansing, former Lyons resident, who died Monday at Alhambra, Calif., will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lyons Christian Church. Rev. O W Reece will officiate. Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.
Mr Lansing was born Sept 1, 1887 near Frederick; moved to Lyons in 1890 with his parents and was a resident here till 1926 when he moved to California. He married the former Leilah Spangler of Lyons Nov 6, 1912.
Mr Lansing was a former Lyons grocer; a member of the Lyons band and active in civic work when he lived here. He was a Mason, a member of the Eastern Star and the Christian Church.
Survivors are the widow; four sisters, Mrs Eleanor Martin, Wellington; Charlotte Lansing and Mrs Helena Rollins, both of Chase, and Mrs Mary Williams, Manhattan; two brothers, Warren, Greeley, Colo., and Col. James W Lansing, Orlando, Fla., formerly of Hutchinson.
