Walter LeRoy 'Pud' Lawyer was born Feb. 22, 1945, in Taylorville, son of Melvin LeRoyand Helen Virginia Zaic Lawyer. He married Helen Irene McKinney Aug. 1, 1970, in Taylorville.
Survivingare his wife; son, Melvin LeRoy (Kara) Lawyer; daughter, Heather Renee (Luke) McLoed; grandchildren, Tanner, Jacob, Ginest, Wyatt LeRoy and Mariah Lynn Layer; special uncle, Robert Zaic and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a veteran of the Air Force.
