Daniel was born July 6, 1954 the son of John and Dorothy (Church) Adams in Billings, MT. He attended grade school at Big Horn and Hysham and graduated from Hysham High School in 1973.
He entered the U.S. Army with his cousins Wayne and Jay. Daniel had a nine year tour of duty in Korea. He met and married Kim Okson on July 19, 1977 in Korea. He was honorable discharged in 1982. Daniel moved back to Hysham and began working for John Welch farms and then for J.T.L Construction as a mechanic and continuing to make their home in Hysham. In 2005, he started his own mechanic business, Dan's Repair, which he ran until the time of his death.
Daniel loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed having family barbeques and most of all his dog Dixie.
He was preceded in death by his father John Adams in 1997.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 34 years Kim Adams of Hysham; his son John Adams and his son Vinni of Hysham; his daughter Wanda (Sam) Adams-VanDyke and their children Ashlee and Matthieu of Billings; his mother Dorothy Adams of Forsyth; his sister Jean (Ralph) Martinez of Hysham; his niece Brandy (Jay) Crow of Camano Island and their children Andrew, Jacob, Dominic and Christian; his aunt Evelena Bogueovich of Billings and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family Receiving Friends will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00pm in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00am in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth with Full Military Honors. Burial will be at the Lee Cemetery.
