(Streator Times, Feb 8,1988)---Arthur B Erickson, 81, of 300 W Henry St, Odell, died at 9:25am Sunday at his home. Services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac. The Rev Rick Klafehn will officiate. Burial will be in Rowe cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Born Oct 22,1906, in Rowe, he was the son of Benjamin and Anna (Olson) Erickson. He married Rita Pellouchoud on Jan 8,1942, in Odell. She survives. Also surviving are 6 sons; Gerald and Benjamin Erickson,both of Pontiac, John Erickson of Rowe, and James, Michael, and Daniel Erickson all of Odell; 3 daughters, Diane Schott of Odell, Linda Erickson of Galesburg, and Mary Jo Norgaard of Odell; one step-daughter, Judy Roberts of Odell; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren; 1 brother Lloyd Erickson of Pontiac; and one sister, Beata Hartwig, of Carbondale. He was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter and 1 brother.
