Bloomington Pantagraph (Feb 13,1915)---Mrs Engeborg Axtell answered the death summons this morning at 6 o'clock at St James Hospital, following an operation which was performed yesterday. She had been sick since last Tuesday. The funeral will be held from the Lutheran church in Rowe Monday morning at 11 o'clock, Rev T.B. Thorson conducting. Interment will be in the Rowe cemetery. The deceased was born in Sands county, Norway, 69 years ago. She was married in Norway and moved with her husband to this country thirty years ago. They came directly to Livingston county and settled in Rowe. Her husband, Ole Axtell, preceded her in death 8 years ago. She continued her residence in Rowe til 3 years ago, when she came to Pontiac, living at 797 N Chicago St. She is survived by one son Osman, living at Little Falls, Minn. and Mrs Belle Buland living near this city. She was a member of the Lutheran church at Rowe and held in high esteem by all who knew her.
