She was the wife of the late Edward Warris Sr. She was a quiller for the Allegheny Ribbon Mill, Quakertown, for 25 years until retiring in 1980. Born in Bucks County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Diehl) Schaeffer. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Spinnerstown.
