Exie Mae Williams

Mrs. Exie Mae Williams, 74, of Bellefontaine, died Sunday, August 5. at Webster General Hospital following an extended illness. She was born July 23, 1889 and was the widow of the late Lewis Williams. She was a resident and landowner of the Cadaretta Community for many years before moving to Bellefontaine. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 7, at Philadelphia Baptist Church. The Rev. J. B. Middleton officiated, assisted by the Rev. Jirremy McHann. Burial was in Philadelphia Cemetery with Wise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Floyd Hood, Tildon Hood, Boyd Hood, Bonnie Hood, Mike Wil­liams and Sharon Clanton.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bohbyette Blount of Montgomery, Ala. and Miss Willyce Williams of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Hood and Mrs. Jimmie Roland of Bellefon­taine; three brothers. Howard Clanton, Bellefontaine, Fuller Clanton, Marked Tree, Ark., and Wade Clanton of Lepanto, Ark. She is also survived by one grandchild.
