ANDERSON. Mo. - Carl Oscar Hurley, 70, died at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gravette Medical Center, Gravette, Ark., after a long illness.
Mr. Hurley was born May 25, 1912, in Anderson. He was a lifetime area resident.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and formerly operated Woodlawn Manor boarding home, Anderson.
Survivors are his wife, Rena Hurley, Anderson; two sons, Darrol Hurley, Neosho, and Curtis Hurley, Anderson; three daughters, Shirley Miller, LaJunta, Colo., Charlotte Sanders and Sharon Davis, both of Anderson, 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Ozark Funeral Home, Anderson.
Services for Carl Oscar Hurley, 70, who died Saturday at Gravette (Ark.) Medical Center after a long illness, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Chapel, Anderson.
Ron Atkinson and the Rev. Derald Compton will officiate. Burial will be in Cummings Chapel Cemetery, Tiff City.
Pallbearers will be Virgil Divine, Virgil Cummings, Sam Fry, Alvie Whitehill, Bill Slagle and Robert Jordan.
Friends may call after noon today at Ozark Funeral Home, Anderson, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
