He was born on January 13, 1950 in Cameron, WV. He was a United States Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He was retired from Central Ohio Coal Company in Cumberland, OH as a welder and heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife Holly; daughters, Melissa (Scott) Fletcher of Wheeling, Penney (Kevin) Yoder of Meyersdale, PA, Crystal Young of Chandlersville, OH, five grandchildren; Chelsea, Emma, and Liza Fletcher, Aiden and Alexa Young of Moundsville, his mother, Phyllis Simmons Young, Sisters, Lois Wickham, Clara Sue Young and brother Neil, all of Aleppo, PA, and Brother Leland of KY. Also surviving, Uncle Rex Young, Lynn Camp, WV.
Preceded in death are his son, James Stacey Young; infant grandson, Braxton; his father, Mack Young.
