Betty Harrington, 69, of Petersburg, died Monday, Dec. 12 at 10:22 a.m. at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
She was born at Chicago Heights, Ill., May 29, 1925, the daughter of E. Edward & Pearl Taylor Lontz, She married David Harrington and he survives.
She attended Glezen Revival Center.
Surviving besides her husband, David, are a son, Steven of Kalamazoo, Mich.; three daughters, Barbara Tatom of Otwell, Laura Britton and Karen McQueen, both of Petersburg; a brother, Clifford G. Lontz of Lansing, Ill.; her stepmother, Olga Lontz of Tomah, Wisc.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hills Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.
