Benson, George 87, passed away, Tuesday April 3, 2012 surrounded by his family. Mr. Benson is survived by his loving and devoted wife Louise D, his daughter Deborah Armentrout (Dale), grandson David M. Armentrout (Tiffany), grandson Douglas G. Armentrout (Ashley), and great granddaughter Lilly Anne.
Mr. Benson served in the 7th Army as Staff Sergeant and was recipient of the Bronze Star. George retired from the New York Times as a Director of Quality Control.
Funeral services have been arranged by Arlington Park Funeral Home located at 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211 on Saturday, April 7 2012 with visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am and service to held at 11 am.
