Glendola Bullock, 83, formerly of Monmouth, died Tuesday evening, March 30, 2004, in Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness. There will be no services. Private family burial: Monmouth Cemetery. Her body was cremated. Arrangements with Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Service, Maquoketa.
Survivors include her children, Dennis of Bellevue, Mich., Beverly Heath of Cedar Rapids and JoAnn Scott of Anchorage, Alaska; and a twin brother, Glen Hardin of Hopkinton.
Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Sandra Bullock; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; two brothers, Roy and Gale Hardin; and a sister, Pauline Bullock.
Glendola was born June 25, 1920 in Emeline, Iowa, to Riford Hardin and Estella Rorah Hardin Freeze. She and her husband farmed in the Monmouth area for 40 years and later lived in Anamosa for six years. Her life was full of family and friends and she spent much of her time staying in touch with them.
Memorials should be directed to Camp Courageous or American Diabetes Association.
