Mrs Andrew Schanz, 45, of Zephyrhills, Fla., died Tuesday in an automobile-train wreck near her residence.
Mrs. Schanz grew up in DeKalb and was graduated from DeKalb High School. She was born in Kaneville Aug. 27, 1926 to Mr. and Mrs. Willard (Emma) Moore.
She married Andrew Schanz in Sycamore, July 31, 1945.
Mrs. Schanz's survivors include her husband; three sons, Donald, Dell and Dean of Florida; a grandson, Jimmy; three sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Marilyn) Taylor of Sycamore, Mrs. Rex (Elaine) Dailey of DeKalb and Mrs. Kenneth (Judy) Knutson of DeKalb; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Schanz was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sidney Dillon.
