Susannah Conrath, wife of Matthias
Conrath, a well-known resident of this
county, died Tuesday, Apr. 30, at her
home in Cookport, of pneumonia, of
which she had been ill but a week.
She was aged 70 years, four months,
and 21 days. The deceased, whose
maiden name was Ham, is survived by
her husband and the following children :
Isaac Newton, of Mahaffey ; Amanda,
wife of George W. Friedline, of New
Washington, Clearfield county ; Frank,
of Greensburg; Sadie, wife of William
Pittman, of Cookport, and George,
manager of the Clymer Manufacturing
Company, of this place. Mrs. Conrath
was a member of the Baptist church
and was held in high esteem by a wide
circle of acquaintances. The funeral
took place Thursday forenoon at 10
o'clock, and interment was made in
East Mahoning cemetery.
