Son of Abram "Bram" and Demaris LEDFORD BANTA. On Mr. Banta's death certificate it lists his father's name as Abram and on the 1900 census it says "Bram".

Mr. BANTA was married to a Miss Pearl BRADSHAW. They had one daughter and three sons.
