Orson E. Bacon
---Orson E. Bacon passed away at 7:15 o'clock Sunday evening in Marengo township, following a long illness. He was born July 14, 1878 in Tekonsha township, the son of Wm. P. and Mary Bacon. He had resided on farms in Marshall and vicinity most of his lifetime. In 1898 he married Agnes Kingsland in Marshall. She died on July 21, 1934. Surviving is one brother, William P. Bacon of Benton Harbor.
---The remains are at the Kelser funeral home, where services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. Harry W. Staver will officiate and burial will be made in West Eckford cemetery.

---Funeral services for Orson Bacon, who passed away Sunday in Marengo township, following a long illness, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Kelser funeral home, with the Rev. Harry Staver in charge. Burial was made in West Eckford cemetery.
---Casketbearers were Frank Schafer, Darwin Leonard, Howard Tadman, James B. Brown, Marvin Hall and Walter Bugden.
