Troy Hendrix, age 88, of Witts Springs, Arkansas was called to Heaven on Monday, May 07, 2012. He was born on July 01, 1923 at Point Peter, Arkansas to W.E. Hendrix and Gertie Lee (Woodard) Hendrix.

Troy cut timber for many years and attended the Falling Water Church. In July 1990 he was saved and accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior at the Falling Water Camp Meeting. He was baptized in July 1990 by Bro. Lester Chisum at the Falling Water Falls. Many family members and friends were there. Troy loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed digging for ginseng, roaming around in the woods and working in the garden, the fruits of which he shared with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Belford, Delford, Thomas, Pete and Earl Hendrix; and four sisters, Ethel Ruff, Edna Laymon, Ida Dean and Hazel Hendrix.

Troy is survived by one sister; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends who loved him and will miss him.

Funeral Services for Troy will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel. Burial will be in Witts Springs Cemetery.
