Mrs. Marcia Dickerson, 78, of Crocker, died Thursday morning at a St. Louis hospital. Mrs. Dickerson was born Feb. 29, 1888, in Iberia, the daughter of Felix and Sarah Ellen Hume Gardner. On Oct. 27, 1909, she married William A. Dickerson, who survives.

Mr. and Mrs. Dickerson moved from Iberia to St. Louis in 1926 and then moved to Crocker in 1950. Mrs. Dickerson was a member of the Crocker Presbyterian Church.

Other survivors include: four daughters, Miss Sydney Dickerson and Mrs. Reba Mucker, both of St. Louis, Mrs. Lucille Hackett, Davenport, Iowa, and Mrs. Ellen Carlstrom, Crestwood; one brother, Arthur Gardner, St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Emma Wilson, Granite City, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Scrivner-Stephinson Funeral Chapel in Iberia, with the Rev. Robert Bullard officiating. Burial will be in the Iberia Cemetery.
