The Oklahoman, Saturday, Feb 22, 1969:
Lawrence E Stewart, 57, 1101 Lombardy, died Friday in St Anthony Hospital following a short illness. Stewart was born in Porum and moved to OKC in 1929. He was a member of Britton Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Mrs Norma Jean Norvalli, 1501 NW 29 and Mrs Lois Simonsen, 1305 NW 99; six brothers, Bill of Norman; Leonard, 501 NW 91; Marvin of Deer Creek; Jessie, 9812 Lancet Lane; Weldon, 1505 Carlton Way; and Armon of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs Loretta Thomas of Dallas, Mrs Pauline Ferris of Ft Worth, and Mrs Francis Rice, 332 NW 96; and his mother, Mrs Maggie Stewart, 501 NW 91.

Services will be 2 pm Monday at Sherman Funeral Service with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
