Mrs. Sven Thoreson died Saturday morning Feb. 9, at her home in Long Coulee of diabetes. She was 63 years 4 mo and 2 days of age. She leaves a husband two sons and one daughter, Charles, and Alfred and Mrs. Hans Hjermstad of N. Dak.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the home at 1 o'clock by Rev. Turmo and at the Halfway church at 3 o'clock conducted by Rev. Berrum with A.E. Smith in charge. The funeral was very largely attended and many beautiful flowers were contributed by friends of the deceased. The pall bearers were John Holly, Carl Helgeson, Chas Anderson, Ole Brudahl, Peter Ruud, and Bernt Skogan. The interment was made in the Halfway cemetery.
