Richland Center - Mrs. Mamie Norman, 81, Richland Center, died Friday in a Richland Center hospital after a long illness.
She was the mother of Mrs. Marvelene Schroeder of Madison.
Mrs. Norman and her husband, James, who died in 1954, operated a hotel and livery in Bloom City for many years. She was also a telephone operator there. She had been a Richland Center resident since 1946.
Surviving are a son, Gaylor, Richland Center; and three other daughters, Mrs. Jesse Peckha and Mrs. Buford Deets, both of Richland Center, and Mrs. Veda Huffman, Granby, Colo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Pratt funeral home, Richland Center.
