MARJORIE S. STAMPER, 82, of Memphis, retired teacher for Memphis City Schools, died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown.
She was a member of Schoolfield United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Stamper, the widow of Douglas Stamper, leaves a sister, Eleanor Blackburn, and a nephew who cared for her, James Wood, both of Memphis.
The family requests any memorials be made to Schoolfield United Methodist Church Choir Fund.
