Ersa Mamie Watson Noland, age 95, of Sevierville, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 25, 2015. She was a member of Roaring Fork Baptist Church for many years. Ersa was a life-long teacher for Sevier County and Knox County until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Noland; daughter, Judy Gail Noland; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Noland; and grandson, Brice Todd Noland.
Ersa is survived by her loving sons, Johnny R. Noland, and Jerry L. Noland and his wife, Connie; grandson, Steven Andrew Noland and wife, Amy; great-grandchildren, Samantha Elise Noland, and Andrew Franklin Noland; and special friend, Brenda Whaley.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Wellington Place of Sevierville, especially Ilene, Tim, Lisa and Lolly for all their kindness and excellent care.
