Lady Margaret Etrenne Hannah Primrose is the daughter of Archibald Philip Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery.
She married Sir Robert Offley Ashburton Crewe-Milnes, 1st and last Marquess of Crewe, son of Richard Monckton Milnes, 1st Baron Houghton and Hon. Annabella Hungerford Crewe, on 20 April 1899.
She was decorated with the award of Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.).1
As a result of her marriage, Lady Margaret Etrenne Hannah Primrose was styled as Baroness Houghton on 20 April 1899. From 20 April 1899, her married name became Crewe-Milnes.
As a result of her marriage, Lady Margaret Etrenne Hannah Primrose was styled as Marchioness of Crewe on 22 June 1911.
