NEWPORT Bessie Rader, 80, of Parrottsville, died Wednesday at Durham-Hensley Nursing Home in Chuckey.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rader was the widow of Hubert Aubrey Rader and was a daughter of the late Della and Daniel Webster Blazer.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Ronald and Patsy Rader of Greeneville and J.B. Rader of Parrottsville;
her grandchildren:
Shawna Suggs of Parrottsville,
Kyra Walker of Rogersville and
John Rader of Parrottsville;
five great-grandchildren;
three sisters: Shelba Blazer of Cleveland, Ohio, and
Reba Keller and Blanche Easterly, both of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Blazer.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Cos
tner-Maloy Funeral Home in Newport.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o?clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Harvey Evans will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 10 o?clock Saturday morning in Faubion Cemetery.
Family and friends will meet at 9:45 in the cemetery.
