Robert L. Parks 87, died at 8 pm Saturday at his home in Union Township. Mr Parks had been ill for about a month.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred and children, Earl Parks of Altamont, Lloyd and Carl Parks at home, Mrs Gertrude Grupe of Effingham, and step children, Arthur McDonald of Chicago, Mrs Fern Gustfshen of Champaign, Mrs Florence Harris of Arizona and Mrs Opal Horath of California, USA. He also leaves 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Mason with burial in Osborn cemetery in Union Township.
