Funeral services for Lottie Mabel Lee, mother of Roger Lee, Yerington, were conducted November 2 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Chism officiating. Burial followed in the Yerington Cemetery. Mrs. Lee, who had made her home in Yerington for the last four years, passed away at the Lyon Health Center, October 27, shortly after entering the hospital.
She was born September 7, 1879 in Milo, Kansas, where she spent her early childhood and received her education. A teacher by profession, she was teaching in the Montana area when she met and married James Alfred Lee in Helena, Montana in 1905. Mrs. Lee, who moved to Yerington from Long Beach, spent several years in southern California, where she was employed as a teacher.
In addition to her son, Roger, other survivors include her husband, James Alfred, Bozeman, Montana; sons Paul Lee, Bozeman; James Lee, South Gate, California, and Charles Lee, San Bernardino, California, and several grandchildren.
