She was born September 7, 1879 in Milo, Kansas, where she spent her early childhood and received her education. A teacher by profession, she was teaching in the Montana area when she met and married James Alfred Lee in Helena, Montana in 1905. Mrs. Lee, who moved to Yerington from Long Beach, spent several years in southern California, where she was employed as a teacher.
In addition to her son, Roger, other survivors include her husband, James Alfred, Bozeman, Montana; sons Paul Lee, Bozeman; James Lee, South Gate, California, and Charles Lee, San Bernardino, California, and several grandchildren.
