Lois (Dixon) Duncan, 90, of Tecumseh, passed away Tuesday, Dec 13,2011, at Sunset Estates in Tecumseh.
Lois was born Mar 11, 1921 to James E & Bettie E (Faulkenberry) Dixon in Carey TX. She was raised in Criner near Purcell in McClain Co and attended schools in Fox, Criner and Dibble. Lois married Willie E. Duncan on Apr 18, 1944 in Santa Anna, CA.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Lois and her husband farmed near Paoli and she lived most of her life in Wynnewood. She moved to Tecumseh in 1989 and has been a resident ever since. Lois enjoyed crafts and quilting.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Duncan in 1986; her parents; brother, Jack; 3 sisters, Velma, Arietta and Agnes.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Ila Chenoweth, Greensboro, NC, and Refa Hogue of New Orleans, LA. Service will be held 10am Fri Dec 16th at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood under direction of Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh.
