Derek Tikka graduated from Tigard High School in Tigard, Oregon in 1990. He was a Vancouver, Washington resident for the past 10 years.
Derek is survived by his parents, Howard and Carol Tikka, Sr. of Vancouver, Washington; his brother, Howard Tikka, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona; and his sister, Jennifer Tikka of Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Derek has been an enthusiastic fisherman, hiker, and skier all his life.
The memorial service was held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Memory Memorial Park Cemetery located at 6906 N. 144th St., Vancouver, Washington.
