Nov. 16, 1904 at Sherrods- vllle. he was a son of John A. and Christina Moran Abel. He was a member of Sacred Heart church of this city, the Holy Name Society of the church and the Eagles lodge of this city. Surviving are three brothers, William C., Gilbert H and Aloysius J. Abel, all of this city; three sisters, Frances M. Abel and Mrs. James James both of this city and Mrs. George Riedel of San Fernando. Calif. A sister is deceased. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart church with the Most Rev. A. L. Freund officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Linn- Hert Co. Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Friday. The Eagles lodge will hold services at 7 p. m. Friday and Rosary Devotions will be held at 8:30 p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
