Gene I. Bullock, 92, of Lincoln, NE (formerly of Falls City, NE) passed away April 6, 2007 at Lincoln. He was born September 4, 1914 at Carrollton, MO to the late Moses C. and Carrie A. (Smith) Bullock.

On January 24, 1937 he married Naomi Mosiman at Falls City.

Gene moved to Falls City with his parents in 1926 and graduated from Falls City High School in 1933. He was an outstanding athlete in high school. He was on the All-State Basketball team his senior year. He served as Rulo High School basketball coach for one year following the death of the former coach. He was in the grocery business with his father until he became sales manager for F W Witt Company of Chicago, IL, a spice company, for thirty years. He served on the Falls City School Board for eight years. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, BPO Elk's lodge #963 both of Falls City. He was an ordained elder of his church.

Gene is survived by his wife, Naomi of Lincoln, son, William and wife Betsy of Scottsdale, AZ, daughter, Janyce Person and husband Bob of Lincoln, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM at First United Presbyterian Church with Reverend Roxie Sullivan officiating. Inurnment will be in Steele Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the church or Falls City Library and Arts Center.
