Mrs. Marian Elizabeth Schollenbarger, 83, of Bartlesville, died at 6:32 P.M. Saturday at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Memorial services for Mrs. Schollenbarger will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, July 8th at the Adams Blvd. Church of Christ with Mr. David Hammonds officiating. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

A memorial has been established to Elder Care, 1223 S.E. Swan Drive, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.

Mrs. Schollenbarger was born on June 8, 1923 at Springfield, Illinois to Ethel Mae (Hocker) and Frank Thomas Boehner. She grew up and received her education in the Springfield, Illinois area. She was married to Clay Schollenbarger and made her home in Columbus, Georgia and Decatur, Georgia. They later moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma in the late 1970's. Following Mr. Schollenbarger's death in 1989, she returned to Lake City, Georgia to make her home until coming to Bartlesville in 2003. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Morrow Presbyterian Church in Georgia.

Survivors include one son, Ron Schollenbarger and his wife, Hollie of Bartlesville, one daughter, Nancy Stevenson and her husband, Jim of Rocky Face, Georgia, her daughter-in-law, Karla Skaggs of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Schollenbarger in 1989, a son, Billy Skaggs, a grandchild, Eric Skaggs, her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
