Brinton P. Allen, 65, of 108 Arthur St., Springfield, an Army veteran of World War II and retired route salesman for Snak-Time Vendors, Inc., Indian Orchard, died Saturday in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Pequaming, Mich., he lived in Springfield 40 years and was a member of South Congregational Church. He leaves his wife, the former Alice Smith; two sons, Chief Petty Officer Donald B., stationed with the Navy in Philadelphia, Pa., and Robert C. of Springfield; three daughters, Patricia A. Kennedy of Westfield, Nancy M. Nicoll and Martha J. Tabb, both of Springfield; a brother, Charles S. of Ocala, Fla., and 12 grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at Byron's Allen Street Funeral Home, with burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Donations may be made to South Congregational Church.
