Paul Richard Horan, 76, passed away peacefully May 10, 2012. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with rosary Mon., May 14, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., K.C., MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tue., May 15, at Sacred Heart Guadalupe, 2544 Madison, K.C., MO 64108. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, KCMO. Paul was born February 22, 1936, in Lawrence, KS, to Thomas and Margaret (Lambert) Horan. He was retired from Associated Wholesale Grocers after 32 years of service. He was a third degree Knight in the Cardinal Glennon Council 4613 of the Knights of Columbus. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Beverly Horan; son, Eddie Horan and partner Toby Brundage of Topeka, KS; daughters, Virginia LeRette of the home, Pam LeRette of Topeka, KS, and Linda Malach and her husband Larry of Olathe, KS; brother, Roy Horan of Reno, NV; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Richard Alexander Horan, II; his parents; eleven brothers and sisters. (Arrangements: Park Lawn Funeral Home 816-523-1234).
