I set up this memorial to pay respect to my 3rd great grandparents and to give family something to go by. Information on this memorial is not 100% documented. I picked this cemetery because it has the most Deal's that are family. Bennett & Mary have yet to be located. Mary passed away on Norris Creek in Lincoln co Tenn in 1884 and since then the name has been change to Bellville and now is called Fayetteville. From all that I have read ,Bennett should have been living at Norris Creek also. Best I can figure he died after 1870. On census records, Bennett Robert Deal gives SC as his place of birth, ~1795. He arrives in Lincoln Co TN by 1818 and lives there continuously until 1859 when a daughter is married in Limestone Co AL, just across the border. He is listed on the 1860 Limestone Co AL census as Robert Deal. By 1870 Bennet is back in Lincoln Co TN. He dies there before 1880.
