Kuno O. Albert, 94, of Elgin died Tuesday, March 16, at Americana Healthcare Center, Elgin.

He was born Aug. 12, 1898, in LaCrosse, Wis., the son of Max and Lena Schoen Albert.

Survivors include a son, James K. Albert of Reno, Nev.; two daughters, R. Angeline (Richard) Rea of Elgin and Mary Ann (Robert) Peterson of South Elgin; six grandchildren; and three great-children.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Crane Albert in 1984; a sister (Clara); a brother (Otto); and a grandchild (Scott Peterson).

Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Congregational Church of Elgin, the Rev. Donald Schmidt officiating. Burial will be private.

There will be no visitation. Wait-Ross-Allanson Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, First Congregational Church of Elgin, South Elgin United Methodist Church or the charity of one's choice.
