He was born July 28, 1993, in Carbondale, Ill. He attended Marietta Middle School. His passions were motocross, racing, watching skateboarding, four-wheeling and video games. He also enjoyed his dogs, Jed and Fox.
He is survived by his parents, Clyde and Rebecca Parsons of Devola; father, Marvin Norris of Marion Ill.; sister, Elizabeth Diefenbach; brothers, Doug and Tony Norris; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Shawnna, Chad, Brad, and Jessica Parsons; grandparents, William and Caroline Diefenbach, Mabel Ruth Parsons, and John Smith; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; very special nephew, Joey Novotny IV; and special friends, Dillion Eddy, James Turner, and Austin Erb.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Virginia Norris; grandpa, Lewis Parsons; great-grandparents, Roy and Jewel Diefenbach; great-grandma, Anna L. Purcell Smith; and great-grandpa, Robert Purcell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., with Pastor David Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Putnam Cemetery in Devola. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. both Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
