Oscar A. Anderson, 87, 110 W. High St., died Thursday in the Carlisle Hospital.
He was born in Cumberland County and was the widower of Mary Black Anderson.
He was a retired State Highway employee and a former farmer. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Community United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 101 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his son, Mervin L. Anderson, 133 Pennsylvania Ave; one step brother, Charles H Anderson, Newville; one step sister Matilda Reed, Carlisle; one grandson, three great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Charles W. McCulloh Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
