Mrs. Mary J. Abercrombie, wife of Bulling G. Abercrombie, passed away at her home, Euclid avenue, north, at half past four o'clock on Saturday morning, in her 40th year. Mrs. Abercrombie was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George N. Miller of Philadelphia. Mr. and Mrs. Abercrombie were married six years ago and took up their residence in Plainfield, coming here about two years and a half ago. Mrs. Abercrombie had made many warm friends during her short residence in this town and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband. The funeral was held yesterday afternoob at 2 o'clock and was conducted by the Rev. Dr. Steans, of the Presbyterian church. The Misses Rodenbaugh and Eida Fink sang "Abide With Me", and "Lead, Kindly Light". There were many floral tributes. The pall-bearers were Dr. Wilcox, Dr. Carey, and M. Gates, of Plainfield; William Harper, of Newark; A.C. Wilcox, of Westfield and John D. Barr, of Elizabeth. Interment at Fairview.
