Funeral services for Dan Goeringer, 69, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma were held at 10 am Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at the Chattanooga First Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Powell, pastor of Lawton First Baptist West, officiating.

Mr. Goeringer died Sunday, December 19, 1999 in Norman, Oklahoma following a lengthily illness. Burial followed in the Chattanooga Cemetery under the direction of Gish Funeral Home, Frederick, Oklahoma.

Dan Goeringer was born October 25, 1930 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Oswald Victor and Hattie Mae (Eberhardt) Goeringer. He graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1948. He attended Draughons Business College in Wichita Falls, Texas. He served four years in the US Air Force. Following his service, he returned to Chattanooga and joined his father in Goeringer Construction Company. He married Alicia Mae Tripp on March 9, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas.

He is survived by one son, Dannie V Goeringer of Norman, Oklahoma; two daughters, Linda Goeringer of Norman, Oklahoma and Dana Lee Glasscock of Hydro, Oklahoma; three brothers, Jerry Goeringer of Newell, South Dakota, Glen Goeringer of Abilene, Texas, and Bill Goeringer of Newell, South Dakota; three sisters, Wilma Hoagland of Wichita Falls, Texas, Nancy Bohl of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, Linda Humble of Altus, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
