George Earvin Abbit, infant son of Takary Wright and Lashondra Abbit of Texarkana, Texas died Friday June 18,2004 in a local hospital. George was born June 18,2004 in Texarkana. Other survivors include two brothers, SaVaughn Abbit and Nicholas Abbit of Texarkana; four sisters, Santana Steger, Kiara Stanley, Tiara Stanley and Shawnita Wright of Texarkana; his grandparents, Brenda and Robert Woolridge and Johnny Martin of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Graevside services will be 1 p.m. today in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Babyland with the Rev. Johnny Nard officiating, under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Texarkana Daily Gazette, June 26,2004.
